| I finally finished my latest wood carving - a bear from a tree stump. Unfortunately, the wood was from a Chinese pistachio tree which is extremely hard wood. I spent countless hours using chisels and it was slow going and the tools became dull quickly. I bought a small electric chain saw and used that to finish the bear. Yeah! I covered it with two coats of acrylic to protect it from the elements since it will stay outside for now. |  |
